-Hypothetical archetypes, or "stand-ins" for actual users that drive the decision making for interface design projects.
-Not real people, but they represent real people throughout the design process.
-Not "made up"; they are discovered as a by-product of the investigative process.
-Although they are imaginary, they are defined with significant rigor and precision.
-Names and personal details are made up for personas to make them more realistic.
-Are defined by their goals.
-Interfaces are built to satisfy their needs and goals.
Meet my Persona:
Hannah is an active 9yr girl who loves nature, sports, and being a girly girl by dressing up her dolls. She is the eldest is a great role model to her sister and brother.
She does well in school and is very obedient from her parents.
She loves playing kids games online. One of her favorite website for games is pbskids.org
Sometime she would spend hours online playing games, depending on the difficulty and how well she understands the concept.
She is definitely a visual type of girl because she doesn't read the directions everytime.
According to Hannah's description. The main goal is to design something that is simple and easy to follow. Pictures and moving visuals will be included to gain her attention. Since she does well in school, she is most likely interested in learning new stuff. Detailed and straightforward content will be kept in mind as well when putting this project together.
